Strong Biotech Corporation is a market-oriented biotechnology company, which was established in June 2000. For the past 20 years, Strong has held fundamental immunology, microbiology, and proteomics technologies. Strong’s clinical gastroenterology professionals have specialized in Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in vitro diagnostic devices and related materials. Strong is the first company in the world specializing in producing both paper and gel type Helicobacter pylori in vitro diagnostic tests, providing rapid diagnosis of peptic ulcer caused by H. pylori as the basis of doctor’s prescription.

July - Successfully developed apoptosis detection system of in vivo cell used for image diagnosis.May - Developed a “New” in vitro diagnostic kit HelicotecUT®Plus in paper form for testing Helicobacter pylori and obtained the license from Department of Health, R.O.C. before sold to health system.
March - successfully established recombinant protein over expression and microbial fermentation technology which is applied in production of proteins and peptides in Medical Cosmetics. By the advanced technology in the field, we were invested in fermentative production of Medical Cosmetics new star, proteins and peptides in the family of Growth Factors.
2006
August - Executed “CITD” project on Annexin V derivative used in Image Diagnosis with Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C. support.anuary - Developed HelicotecUT® (An in vitro diagnostic kit in gel form for testing Helicobacter pylori) and obtained the IVD license from Department of Health, R.O.C.
2005
December - SBC Research products were divided into three major product lines: Apoptosis detection, Genomics and the Proteomics series. All of them have been highly recommended by the users of Research Labs and distributors in the field.October – Participated in “SBIR” project on purification of xylitol from discarded wood flour together with major executive companies, San-Ying and Chung Hwa Pulp Corp. with grant support of Ministry of Economic Affairs, R.O.C. And developed several microbial strains producing enzymes for food industry.
2004
