Intended Use :
HelicotecAG is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay intended for rapid and qualitative detection of H. pylori antigen in fecal samples and as an aid to diagnose, monitor and determine eradication after treatment.

Principle :
When the fecal sample is added to the sample well, the specimen migrates along the strip by capillarity. If H. pylori antigen presents in the specimen, the immunocomplex will be captured by the monoclonal anti-H. pylori antibody at the Test line, producing a reddish-purple colored band. If there is no band at the Test Line, indicating that there is no detectable H. pylori. The development of a colored band at the Control line indicates that the device works functionally.
